Nattuvangam is an essential and rhythmic aspect of Indian classical dance. At Strarts, we offer exclusive online Nattuvangam lessons for children, nurturing their understanding of dance rhythm and guiding them to become proficient Nattuvanars (conductors) for classical dance performances.

Meet The Teachers
Priyanka Thilak
A professional Bharatanatyam Dancer with over twenty-two (22) years of dance experience which includes Eight (8) years of teaching. She also has a post graduate in Bharatanatyam from the Madras University. She's garnered laurels like Yuvashree Kala Bharathi, Bala Rukmani and many more.
Tharani Rathnavel
Experienced with twenty-two (25) years of dance which includes Five (5) years of teaching experience. Completed M.A. Bharatanatyam under university of Madras. She is currently pursuing in Karnas under Dr. Padma Subramaniam.
Aparna Vasudevan.
Aparna Vasudevan - a post graduate in Bharatanatyam has been dancing from the age of 6 and has a teaching experience of over 15 years. Besides Bharatanatyam, she is skilled in Kathakali , Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi & Koodiyattam.
Sakthi
A professional Bharatanatyam Dancer over twenty-two (22) years of dance experience which includes Five (5) years of teaching experience. She's the student of Dr. Sheela Unnikrishnan, Shankar Kandaswamy and is currently training Kuchipudi under Kishore Mosalanti.
Darshiini
Darshiini has 17 years experience as a classical dancer. She has trained under guru Bharatsri Sumamani. She has received awards like Natya Kazhi Thilagam, Natya Kazha Ratna etc,. Adding to her accolades, she is also a member of UNESCO-CID international dance council.

Starts is Amazing dance studio. My instructor Priyanka madam is extremely talented and helpful to people of all ages and skill. They have lots of group classes every week. It can be pricey and worth it.

I highly recommend DARSHIINI maam if you are looking for a Bharatanatyam dance instructor. She makes your kids and you feel comfortable right from the first classe.A very patient and punctual teacher. Even younger kids are able to pick up and learn. Regularly update the kids by sending recorded videos, happy to find her.

Varenya has been learning Bharatanatyam for around 4 months from starts now. We were a bit apprehensive about online learning, but she has been able to pickup and dance very well. Aparna mam has taught the basics right.. she can be tough when required, but has kids best interest in her mind. Varenya has become a graceful dancer and moreover my 2 year old has also started dancing looking at her akka.. so we are very happy with the course so far.
